CNC Panel Saw Operator
Job Summary: Cuts product parts to size using the CNC panel saw according to specified dimensions provided, to assure timely manufacturing of product to customer specification.
Duties:
·Cuts parts according to specified dimensions provided.
·Completes daily preventative maintenance on the saw.
·Assures that the work area and aisles around the saw are kept clean and free of debris.
·Assists in training of team members.
·Assures that parts being moved from the panel saw are labeled correctly.
·Other duties which may be assigned on an as-required basis.
Responsibilities:
·Communicates effectively to internal customers, verbally.
·Follows procedures in company handbook and other documents.
·Demonstrates a professional attitude when approaching work assignments.
·Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
·Assists in developing solutions to problems.
·Maintains a safe working environment, making sure everyone around the saw will not get in a situation to be injured.
·Assures the cut quality is acceptable.
·Maintains outstanding attendance.
Specifications:
·Ability to read and interpret cutlist dimensions and optimize cut patterns.
·Ability to move and transact material from inventory using a computer.
·Able to manage multiple priorities.
·Has knowledge of materials and processes related the companies manufactured product.
·Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32" accuracy.
·Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs. continually.
·High school diploma or equivalent.
·2 years related industrial experience.
Job Relationships:
·Reports directly to Manufacturing Supervisor.
·Works closely with Team Leaders and Cabinetmaker.
Authority:
·Recommends changes needed in department.
