Job Summary: Assist manufacturing supervisor with job assignments, monitoring and adjusting work flow to assure timely completion of customer orders

Duties:
·Assist in the engineering and design of fixtures
·Assist in training and development of team members
·Complete complex tasks in a given time period, adjusting for changing priorities
·Verifies department output of fixtures to insure customer expectations are consistently and completely attained.

Responsibilities:
·Monitor jobs on shop floor to insure timely completion.
·Develops solutions to problems on a timely basis
·Organize jobs in accordance to production schedules
·Fixture labeling
·Maintain outstanding attendance
·Maintain professional image to customer and other employees
·Follow procedures in company handbook and other documents
·Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
·Display sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks
·Provide effective leadership to all associates

Specifications:
·Ability to read complex drawings
·Ability to fully engineer complex customer requirements
·Understand machine set-ups for a wide variety of woodworking equipment
·Must have demonstrated leadership ability
·Must have basic computer skills
·High school graduate and 5 years experience

Job Relationships
·Assist internal departments with needed information
·Relays information from project managers and others to those within the cabinetmaking department
·Reports directly to manufacturing supervisor

Authority:
·Make decisions on the floor in absence of managers as appropriate
·Gives work assignments to those within the cabinetmaking department
·Schedules meetings
·Determines acceptability of product to specifications
