Receiving Specialist

Job Summary: Receive incoming materials into computer system and maintain supply levels.

Duties:
·Receive incoming materials in an accurate and timely fashion.
·Move materials to new locations both physically and in the computer.
·Receive incoming "hot" materials in an expedient time frame.
·Manage supply levels.
·Reduce poplar from inventory for team members.

Responsibilities:
·Accurate and timely receipt of materials.
·Maintain a professional image to internal and external customers.
·Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures in a positive manner.
·Prioritization of materials to be received.
·Communication of receiving information to team members.

Specifications:
·Must be detail oriented.
·Team environment work ethic.
·Good oral and written communication skills.
·Good computer skills-knowledge of Windows a plus.
·Good forklift driving skills.
·High School diploma.
·2 years of experience in the receiving field.

Job Relationships:
·Report directly to the Inventory Control Specialist.
·Work closely with the Production, Shipping, Finishing, Purchasing, and Engineering departments as well as the Inventory Material Handlers and Project Managers.

Authority:
·Prioritization of materials to be received.
·Participates in the decision of which supplies vendors are used.
·Ordering of supplies.
