Finish Helper
Job Summary: Provides assistance to the Finishers.
Duties:
·Turn in daily time cards.
·Be able to follow procedures.
·Help in the maintenance of finishing and sanding equipment.
·Be able to learn sanding techniques.
·Keep work area clean and dispose of materials in a safe manner.
·Attach the proper paperwork to items leaving the finish department.
·Other duties which may be assigned on as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
·Communicates effectively to internal and external customers of the finish room.
·Be dependable and display a strong work ethic.
·Have the ability to take direction from Finisher Team members.
·Be able to work within a team concept and contribute to a positive work environment.
·Work within the company culture.
·Demonstrate a professional attitude in approaching job assignments.
·Follows procedures in the company handbook and other documents.
·Practice effective self-management.
Specifications:
·Be able to take direction.
·Have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
·Have the ability to learn new procedures.
·High School or equivalent diploma.
Job Relationships:
·Reports directly to the finishing supervisor.
·Work harmoniously with finishers and fellow employees within the company.
Authority:
·Request help.
·Suggest improvements to finish/sanding processes.
