![]() For Immediate Release VENEERING TECHNOLOGY COURSE IN HIGH DEMAND Stiles Education, in cooperation with its educational partner NASFM, introduces a new course, "Innovative Veneering Techniques & Processes," on September 24-25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Due to the high interest in this training, a second session has been added September 27-28. These intensive training sessions will feature all aspects of the veneering process including veneer standards and grades; flitch selection; jointing and splicing methods; waste reduction; and veneer sanding techniques. Demonstrations will take place in Stiles Machinery's Advanced Technology Center, and will highlight the latest in state-of-the-art veneering equipment. The course is designed to assist NASFM member companies in making knowledgeable decisions for the future direction of their veneering operations. Experts will share valuable information on purchasing veneer to meet store fixture specifications, recommended equipment to best meet a NASFM shop's needs, and many tricks of the trade in producing veneered panels from lay-up through sanded components.
