NASFM Announces Charter Retail Advisory Council

Hollywood, FL—The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers held the first meeting of its newly formed Retail Advisory Council on Feb. 3, 2000. The meeting was held in conjunction with the judging of NASFM’s Retail Design Awards program in Miami, FL.

Retail Advisory Council members were nominated by a special NASFM task force and approved by the NASFM Board of Directors. In addition to their roles as judges, council members will help guide NASFM’s retail-focused programs, such as the Retail Design Awards; the retail-resource Web site, www.retailfix.com; the association’s seminar track and booth at GlobalShop; and all future retail-oriented services and campaigns.

NASFM’s new Retail Advisory Council members are as follows:

NASFM’s Retail Advisory Council Task Force includes: Robert Reeve Frackelton, Reeve Store Equipment Co.; Dan Graves, Dolphin Manufacturing Co.; John Schlegel, Hamilton Fixture; and Ben Weshler, Display Systems Inc.

The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (NASFM) is an international, not-for-profit trade association representing the store fixture manufacturing industry since 1956. The association's membership includes more than 450 regular member companies operating over 800 plants and employing more than 75,000 people worldwide; an additional 200 industry suppliers are associate members. NASFM members manufacture an estimated 85% of all store fixtures produced in North America.
