Con-Tech Lighting Announces Sirius Award Winner
Sept.
26, 2006—Con-Tech
Lighting announces
its 2006 Sirius Award Winner, a Radio One project
in Atlanta designed by Mathew Anderson of Hearing
Troy & Associates and represented by Lighting
Associates. The
Sirius Awards are presented annually by Con-Tech Lighting
to recognize excellent use of Sirius lighting products
by designers, architects, and specifiers.
Radio One radio stations used Sirius to accentuate a
hip, urban, loft-style interior. Sirius rail complemented the
station’s open-structure design and its elaborate cable
tray system by running directly below the trays down the hallways. Pico and Versa fixtures were mixed
to provide general and accent lighting. By the elevators,
a Sirius rail grid creates a false
ceiling look with Pico fixtures providing all the lighting.
The conference room table is visible from the lobby
and is highlighted with Optic pendants.
Con-Tech Lighting offers a versatile selection of recessed
lighting fixtures including incandescent, low-voltage,
HID, compact fluorescent,
and energy-efficient track and rail lighting. Represented
by more than 80 manufacturer agents throughout the United
States,
Canada, and Mexico, Con-Tech sells exclusively through electrical
wholesalers and distributors.
